Since our arrival in Columbus, anytime donuts come up in conversation with fellow food folk, DK Diner is inevitably the first recommendation we hear. Kind of like the Ray Ray’s Hog Pit and HCT thing. This weekend, while a college friend of mine (shout out to the Weber State days) was in town, we finally made it to The DK Diner for donuts.

Everyone has a favorite donut place, and for those of us that are donut connoisseurs, we have very specific opinions and preferences, and we’re not hesitant about sharing them.
When DK Diner kept coming up from ALL of the food folk we’ve met here in Columbus, I made note of it.
It only took us two years to get there.
Clearly, donuts were going to be a massive part of whatever we ended up ordering, and oh man, I get it now. Holy Donuts Batman. DK’s glazed donut, phenomenal. Their Old Fashioned, even better.
Fun Fact: The donut industry is worth $3.6 billion.

Not this one (insert eyebrow wiggle here). It was donut sandwich perfection.
I know that other things were ordered, and enjoyed, but I’m all about this donut sandy. I can’t wait to go back.
