ClusterTruck is a one-of-a-kind delivery restaurant that brings people restaurant-quality food wherever they are—at home, work or their favorite spots They believe hungry people should never have to compromise between the convenience of fast delivery, the food quality they’d get at a sit-down restaurant and the personality of street food – @Eatplaycbus
I don’t know about any of y’all, but when I want comfort food, I’m generally not in the mood to put on socially acceptable clothes and go out to get it, even if it’s just picking up from somewhere, it’s more work than I’m willing to put in. (Hangry much?) Now, if you’re in downtown Columbus, you’re in luck.
Enter Cluster Truck.
@EatPlayCbus and I were invited to check them out and with a name like Cluster Truck, we went to the address we were given looking for a food truck. So we walked around the block, thinking that perhaps Siri had taken us to the wrong location.
No truck.
Wait. What? How are the two of us not able to find a food truck, when we have a specific address, and Siri guiding our way?
We, with an assist from Siri, reached our destination, and realized that we were not in fact looking for a food truck at all, that Cluster Truck is not in fact a traditional food truck, but a central kitchen, that is changing what delivery looks like.
Cluster Truck is not a truck, rather it is a centralized kitchen, that has combined 11 “trucks” into one kick ass menu. That menu, by the way, offers more than 100 options, which normally makes me raise an eyebrow. Their kitchen however, rocks out every single one of those dishes, as the kitchen is set up with each station being a set up for a different section of the menu.
What makes them truly unique, though, this this; when you place your order (which is done online, or through their app) they won’t start making your order until their is a driver ready to pick it up. The food comes straight off the line and into the drivers hands.
At no point does any dish sit under a heat lamp. Ever.
The delivery area is a bit tight, currently only serving the immediate downtown Columbus area, but that’s also intentional. By keeping the delivery area small, Cluster Truck is able to ensure that food will arrive outside yo’ door in under 10 minutes. Get that? You have your food in your hands ten minutes after it’s done been made to order. HELL YES.
Ordering for your office? Cluster Truck makes it incredibly easy to not only offer a range wide enough that everyone can find something that they have a taste for, but also offer group ordering. No one’s left holding the bag when it comes time to pay the bill.
So Let’s Talk About the Food Cluster Truck Puts Out
HOLY. AMAZEBALLS. We were given the menu and told to pick what we wanted. We took that to heart, and ordered a spread. Every dish, and we made a valiant effort to taste across the menu, it was fantastic. Fresh, not greasy (even though we ordered traditionally greasy dishes), and suuuuuuper flavorful. When we tried to figure out which was the favorite, none of the three of us could. RJ, their regional manager, (who used to be a concert promoter) Megan and I. I’m holding out serious hope that they open a location up here in Dublin.
Thai Peanut Chicken Strips // tossed in a spicy peanut sauce and topped with chopped peanuts.
Buffalo Chicken Baked Mac and Cheese //Roasted chicken tossed in spicy buffalo sauce and baked into creamy mac and cheese with a crispy parmesan crust.
Tot-cho’s // Everything you love about nachos, but with TOTS! Topped with seasoned ground beef, pico de gallo, guacamole and pickled jalapeno, then drizzled with cilantro sour cream and a sprinkle of cilantro. Served with sides of white queso and charred salsa.
Curly Fries // Curly is beautiful. These twisted, perfectly seasoned fries are the stuff dreams are made of. (and they really, really are.)
Build Your Own Pizza // We went with a white sauce, loaded up with artichokes, roasted garlic, and roasted red peppers.
We went for the true comfort food route, but if you’re looking for lighter fare, they have that as well. Breakfast too.
Also, cause you meet them at the curb when they deliver your piping hot meal to you, there’s never a delivery fee.
Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

I hope they expand their delivery radius soon. I’ve ordered from them twice and loved it but had to drive downtown and randomly meet them somewhere. Worth it for sure, but would be great if they’d at least expand to Ohio State so I could get it on my lunch break. from work.
