So many HUGE thanks to the amazing Heather Bauer for not only being such an amazing friend, because without you I’d be lost, but for being such a PHENOMENAL graphic & web designer.  Side note, I tried to tackle the whole building a website business, nope. NOPE. NOPE. NOPE.  That lasted for a week, at most. I fast realized I was so far in over my head, called Heather, and here we are.

I don’t cook professionally any longer for a handful of reasons. (bounced paychecks; my belief that once you’ve ran a kitchen you can’t cook for someone else again; stupid decisions involving many long island iced teas, a stove, and kitchen shoes; enjoying my evenings & weekends with my husband & dogs (two chihuahua’s Eddie, & Otis); and a love for being home before midnight. And that’s the abbreviated list)

Entertaining, cooking for and feeding others, a love of travel (thanks Momma), and a wild passion for photography have brought me here.

This is the world as I see it, the restaurants that we love, the grocery stores that make me feel like I’ve died and gone to grocery heaven, the salons, bodegas, markets, & tortillarillas that we (thankfully my husband loves cooking & exploring as much as I do) discover and love, recipes that we’ve tried and either have been run away success’, or train wreck failures, or those that I’ve developed on my own.

Come join me on this crazy adventure of moving away from everything I’ve known to a state on the other side of the country, in a COMPLETELY different world, as I continue on with what I love.
